The first incident took place around 7:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, on Seaview Avenue that was picked up by the Bridgeport Police Department's Shot Spotter system, according to Scott Appleby, the city’s director of emergency management.
Just minutes later, the system reported a shooting at the PT Barnum Apartments housing complex, Appleby said.
At the same time, Bridgeport Hospital alerted police that a victim had just arrived at their ER.
A few minutes later another victim of a gunshot wound arrived as well.
Bridgeport officers responded to all areas, and the hospital, Appleby said.
The parties shot include a female who received a non-life-threatening injury to the shoulder and a man who was shot in the wrist.
